Just having my favourite daydream about winning the euromillions and thinking about what would make my life complete- this is what I have come up with so far......

Own build farmhouse,
Oakley lorry with pop outty bit,
Neat American barn style yard complete with sweeper-upper,
Rows of brand new saddles,
Heated swimming pool (can't decide between inside or outside),
Neat paddocks with smart fencing...maybe a little brook flowing through each one,
Indoor and Outdoor schools (big enough for SJ course always set up and dressage area on side),
Cute little miniture pony to keep all my top class eventers happy when travelling...pref a miserable gelding with a name like fluffykins or something,
Rayef and someone to teach me how to ride even one side of him,

hmmmmm I think thats it for now- any others?:D

...

If I won the really big money.....It would be a country house with stable yard. Preferably close to a village. Somewehere for a village cricket team, summer shows etc.

Horse wise.....any competition schoolmaster that I can just go out and enjoy, and teach me lots.

Horsebox.... Probably a big lehel.

OOOH!... and lots of staff to do the crap jobs.

Definate yes for lots of staff- I might make them all wear a uniform too mwah mwah mwah

Ooohhhh good idea...I wonder if it will really be big enough for my needs though?;)

Huge scope for modifications... could always buy the village too?

I'd sort out my school's budget problems first. Then I'd sort out the charity I used to work for in Madagascar and pay for them to keep doing what they're doing for the next however many years.

Get all my friends and family out of debt. I wouldn't make them rich or even rich enough not to work because I don't believe anyone needs that but I'd make them secure with their houses paid for and their student loans paid off.

Do something about those wretched moor ponies. Well, not personally, because I'm not knowledgeable enough, but fund someone who knows a lot more about it than me. Ditto live transport.

Do something about the homeless people I walk past every day. Not giving them cash, but my dad used to work with a homeless charity so he'd know the right people to fund.

Pay off my student loans and buy a house.

Get one of those little 3.5 ton lorries for my pony and maybe get her a friend. It'd depend if I had time to do two with work though.

Tell work to stop paying me.

Bribe YO to let me have paradise paddocks. See if I was allowed to build an indoor school at the yard if I promised really nicely to share it. I wouldn't like to have my own place because being at a yard is so much more social, for me and the horse.

Give the rest of the money to my dad to look after. He'd like that ;)

The first thing I'd do is buy my first pony back from the riding school he's at and let him a have a happy (or rather miserable as he's a bit of a Victor Meldew) retirement.
Buy a nice little 5 ton lorry that my two big boys will fit into nicely.
The rest I'd have to think about for a bit.

What a fab thread!
Dreaming hat on (next stop is the lottery website for my ticket!):

House - think lovely square red brick farmhouse with walled garden, ducks and chickens pottering around. There would be a crunchy gravel drive leading up to the house too.
Lots of land with some lovely old trees so it looks like old park land. I would have a hack/xc course around the edge of my land so even if the hacking was pants (which it wouldn't be because I'm dreaming!) we could have a grand hack. Along one side of the land would be a lovely stony bottom stream for OH to catch trout from.
An allweather gallops
indoor and outdoor schools, at least 30x60, and no annoying little gaps in the indoor so no spooky strips of light on the floor! Flood lights and sound system on them both.
Stable yard would be a lovely old stone one on three sides, immaculate obv!
I would be able to see the fields from every room in the house and I would have a super swanky garden house in the field so that we could eat with the horses around us!
Horse wise, our two gorgeous girls, and a load of Cleveland bays that we had bred.
We would have a lehel, a big HGV one for stays away from home (wonder if you can get one with pop outs in the horse bit so it converts into stables?!), and a 5.5 for closer shows!
We would have OH old head girl work for us, as she is just the best person you could ever imagine to look after your beloved horses, just a total legend! I would also completly buy off my instructor and install him next door so I could always call on him for help. His old boy would be retired there too.
I would stay in the Cotswolds as it has pretty much everything horsey you could need, and just heaps of show centers! The only thing which is too far away is the beach, but the lehel would sort that prob out!

Wow, how amazing it would be! Off to get my ticket now, you just never know and someone has to win it don't they!

Oh yes...But it would have to be victorian type cloths, and they would have to bow their heads when I walk by...!

Unbalanced- you are a truly good person!!!- I would prob still buy my Oakley first though ;-p

You are right...to be honest I will prob need the village to home all my staff?

Good start annagain- but come on- less thinking more spending!!!

Hmmmm you are right- the only think that we are missing in the cotswolds is a beach- right add to the list artificial beach!!- sounds like you are close so you can come and use it too. I will be generous with my facilities!

Ooohhhh Sprite you have got it!! Do you think that it would be too much to get them to call me madam as well? :D

In return for lending you my small pony (that you can pretend is a gelding and call her fluffykins and lets face it next to a 17.2 she'd look like an ickle miniture...) can I be a livery? :D

Having seen pictures of your pony I am sure that she is not grumpy enough for my needs...however you can livery with me of course!!

All my staff would have to bow to me every morning, and tug forelocks, this is after they have cleaned my ponies stables to an absolute standard, obviously my number one pony would require proper exercise, he needs to be groomed to perfection every day, then allowed to roll in a mud bath, once he has completed his mud-bath, he can be dried off in a solarium, with a little feed of alfalfa and oats, he would rather like a warm shower, then a little swim , if he wants to go down to the sea, he will be allowed to paddle and splish-splash, it makes him laugh if he can knock his groom in to the sea, but he also likes to canter up on the moors, best thing is to spook at a stupid sheep so his rider falls off, then he can have a bite of grass, and wander back home for lunch, with his groom following on behind.
