Every evening, Dave has a routine. He has his dinner & then reverse parks into the corner of his stable beside his mate next door to rest & snooze.

I always go in & give him a scratch & a cuddle before I leave.

The other night, I was doing just this, getting his favourite scratch bits & the head went down, the breathing slowed & next thing, he was off, snoozing. So I moved. I also touched his nose.

You know when someone makes you jump when you're just dozing off? There was much snorting. "FFS Mam, was just off to sleep there!"

I think he's forgiven me.

Better than when I touched my boy's nose and got a massive static shock. He spent over a week running away from me! Poor thing
