I was very lucky to meet Mary King, Geoff Billington and Olly Townend on Sunday! They are all really nice and gave me lot's of tips and advice. I've met some famous people before and they didn't really take the time to talk, but these 3 were so lovely, and were genuinely interested in me and my horse! I'm still buzzing!!!

Guessing you were at the equestrian fair? It was really good wasn't it (I went on Sunday too) I didn't manage to meet them though but have met Geoff before and Mary lives close to my gran and although we see her out alot I have never spoken to her!

Unfortunately, on the few occasions I've been up close and personal with equestrian royalty, I've looked like a scary, sweaty thing with hat hair and a horse that farts.

Or in my case exceedingly drunk ! I don't remember much of the German eventing team gold medal after party, but have photographic evidence of me feeding heinreich rommike (sp) play-doh, and comparing bras with ingrid klimke. And that was before the whisky........................

Yeah what a horse! Worth keeping a look out for him next year, I think Geoff will do very well with him!
