Don't feel obliged to read, only bother if you're a sbored as I am!
I have a lovely, wonderful, gorgeous, perfect horse who will never ever be for sale - he's got a home for life with us! But after all these 'how much' style posts I've been wondering how much we'd get for him if we were to sell him, just out of curiosity.

He's a 15hh 8 year old connemaraXirish draught/welsh cob gelding, we've had him for 4 years and he's done everything with us, he'd only been broken for like, 3 months when we bought him. He was bought for £3500 which I think was probably a bit steep since he had done absolutely nothing lol. He's always placed when we go out in dressage and showjumping, and we're working on cross country as he gets a bit nappy. He could hunt and we were told he had in ireland. We haven't really tried to show properly but the judges this year in our first classes were rather harsh lol. Forward going, he loves jumping and /never/ stops or runs out, has jumped about 3'3 with me. He's done a certain amount of schooling - he'll go in a pretty much constant outline in trot and in canter with a bit of work I'm hoping the same will be true! So... any ideas?
One video of schooling early this year (excuse the rider!) dressage

And one for luck - looking pretty at a show!

Well done if you to the end of that splurge! lol [image]http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee227/mollymillymoo1/?action=view&current=cocoshow.jpg[/image]

Thanks, he looks a lovely horse!

If you were luck I think you could get 5K going by current prices, but 4K would be more realistic.

Oooo...he's rather scrummy. I have no idea of his value, but if I owned him, I woldn't sell either
