I went!!

I went on my first ever hunt on Thursday, i absoloutly loved it! My pony has never had so much energy either, she enjoyed it so much
It was autumn hunting apparently, anyone have the time to explain to me how this is different to normal hunting? or is it just because it is during atutmn?

Anyway, there wasnt even 20 of us out, but the people were lovely. they told me all about the ways of hunting and interesting facts about how the dogs are always 'hounds' and that you can have only half a hound!!
It started of very fast, we literally canted and galloped continously for the first 10/20minutes which was very fun and popped over a couple of logs. it calmed down after that but was so much fun

I realy want to go again!!

autumn hunting used to be called cubbing and was when young hounds were started off, before main season

ah right, that would make sense as one of the men said most the hounds were pups

i wanted to take one home! my wish almost came true as when i got back to the yard i was told a small group of them had made themselves at home on the yard!!
