Don't worry about it, I have encountered some horrible, ignorant people since I've been on my journey. Some people just don't want it to work and won't believe it as they are so close minded. It's sad really.
I've heard some hilarious things - before I sent my horse to Rockley I was told he wouldn't be able to go on the road, compete, jump, do more than walk on grass and that Rockley doesn't work. I spent many an evening sobbing into my poor boys mane as I had nowhere else to turn and couldn't understand why people were so negative.
I can look back now, less than a year later and know I made the right choice as my written off horse is back competing, jumping, XC - you name it he does it. Try not to let the negative nellies get you down but do be aware that they are unlikely to change their minds - some people are just unable to open their mind to something new.... Just be grateful you aren't one of them
I actually got accused by barefooters on a barefoot forum of abusing a rehab horse. He was sound at twelve weeks, jumping at thirteen weeks and has now been sound, having had an appointment to put him to sleep cancelled to come to me, for more than three years.
Horse blissfully unaware and happy in the field. I am trying not to get my hopes up too much would be such a fantastic told you so!! Just ignore them and give them a ear to ear smile when you ride past them in a few months time 
Ive just spent almost a year getting a horse to the rock crunching stage. He had brill feet. Sold him on to new owners who promptly had him shod. oh well.
