Cant believe it. Went on Horseware website last week to see if I could see a piccy of the front clip fastennings as mine are so worn now they twizzle all the way round and I couldnt remember which way they fastenned (clip inwards or outwards) Must have been having a proper blonde moment as I do it up everyday

. I saw the competition and thought I may as well enter and never thought I'd hear anything else. Well got an email saying Ive won it, Im gobsmacked.
What are the sizings like please. I'd say my boy is inbetween sizes, he has a 6' 6 Rambo Wug and it fits snug and his rhino original is 6'9, fits nice round the chest but probably a bit long, nothing major. Im thinking the duo neck may be too small if I get a 6' 6. I have the Amigo stable rug in a 6' 6 and that seems fine whereas the Amigo bug rug wouldnt go near him in either size chest wise, I dont know what to do.

What do you think

I'd go for the 6'9" if I were you, my horse generally took a 6'6" in most things although she was so broad (everywhere) that most things were snug. I got her a 6'6" Horseware that was FAR too short, got the next size up and it was roomy but much better and more comfortable. Better roomy than having the fillet string wedged up you backside anyway!

Don't forget the thicker layer you put underneath, the "smaller" the outer rug will become!

I know, I never win anything.
Had my wisdom teeth out Tuesday and been feeling a bit sorry for myself, got a job offer on Wednesday after becoming unemployed for the first time ever mid Jan, then won this rug. Anyone know of a horsebox competition!!! They say they come in threes ... hey you never know lol

Sounds like you need a 6ft 9,they are fantastic fittin rugs!!!I have a 16.3 tb and have had the supreme,6,9 great fit!!The wugs are less generous in their sizes!!!

Go for the 6'9 as my boy's TB (on the slim side) 17hands. He got 6'6 rhino stable and 6'9 amigo summer TO which is on the small side, the duo which is 6'9 and is ample on him... lovely and roomy, no rubs. Neck not too bad. Brill rug.. 2nd season so far no problems. To preserve it use different rug for summer and it'll last longer.

Well done! No help wiht the size I'm afraid. I won a set of Groomer's sprays and shampoo the other day, and now have gone competition crazy!!

My boys just under 16.2, he is a ID x TB x Shire though. He's a 6' 6 in Fal and Weatherbeata but then I found them generous.
I think I will probably risk the 6' 9 as I have a lightweight Rambo in 6' 6 which fits fine but I'd never get anything under it.
Thanks for all your help.

Well done for winning. My horse is a 6'3 and this is what I bought. It does fit perfectly even with rugs underneath but she is narrow anyway. I love my rambo duo, doesn't rub at all, and wouldn't have anything else now for winter.
