There is a middle ground between having a dog constantly on the lead in public, and a dog marauding about the place like a lunatic

And that in fact, the majority of people need to find that middle ground for the sake of their dog's welfare - and do.

As said, mine is off a lot, probably more than he is on, and on when he needs to be, which is when we meet other people, just to be sociable (like I say, people don't often want GSDs charging up to them) and I would appreciate it if other people were respecful of that. Amen!

You wouldn't think it was that hard to put a list of names into alphabetical order would you? So WHY have I got two lists in totally different orders (neither of which I or my colleagues did, they are both from different external sources) and WHY is one list two names short? And WHICH NAMES ARE MISSING??????????

Do agree with you about the middle ground though, its just frustrating when people think their experiences apply to each and every dog.
