...I was trying to poo-pick the bottom field this afternoon and a gust took the shovel right out of my hands and flung it half way across the field :eek:

Job abandoned until tomorrow :D I went and had half an hour of scritchies with Merlin instead, who was very appreciative.

Wow, wind is mental just now, the yard I keep my horses at is on a hill and the wind comes straight at the barn door, makes for interesting times bringing in horses with buckets and rugs flying past lol!

Couldnt agree more, roll on the 4 foot snow and sunny blue skies, the gales are the one thing I do not like about living here! (edge of Cairngorms!). Fed up of the noise and the damage now, they seem to have been going on for weeks.
