Ian Stark- Kentucky 3DE

Just spotted Ian's name on the start list for Kentucky after reading the other post! Am I being forgetful or has it been AGES since he competed at 4****? I thought he'd retired from that level?

Will be really great to see him back at a big event, I'm hoping to get the interactive viewing pass advertised on their website and be able to watch!

I havn't seen him in ages either - apart from the fact when he was eventing I wasn't even born. I'm looking forward to seeing him though.

He's riding a horse he's been riding for quite a few years but it has been injury prone, Full Circle 11. He rode it at a demo I was at a few weeks ago and it went beautifully, completed a sj course set up for a Grade A sj'er, and was totally relaxed.

I really hope it goes well for them.

Yes, it did go well at Ingliston demo. Was glad my son wasn't there watching when Ian jumped two bounces with his hat off holding it over his eyes so he couldn't see where he was going...! Not too sure that's all that safe?

He did retire from 4 star but never wrote off doing one again his words were "if i do do one it'll have to be kentucky or somewhere far away...."

He's been quietly producing quite a few nice horses since then and Full Circle is the best one at the moment!! Can't wait for him to go and see how it gets on!
