A friend sold me an IBC container to take water up to my field but it has a half inch tap and it took 90 minutes for 300 litres water to discharge into my water troughs by which time I was half frozen and bored rigid. If I fill it to the top I could be there all day!

I need a larger tap but not sure what works best - if I buy a 1" tap I need to buy another hose, but if I buy a 1" tap with 2 or 4 taps off it, will that be 2 or 4 times faster?

Anyone else use one to transport water and what do you use to discharge it?

I couldn't transport an IBC one so I bought a water bowser. I use standard hose fittings to attach it to my automatic drinking troughs. It takes a while to fill but I don't care because I've returned home whilst it does it, I just leave it in the field. I uggest you hook the IBC up in a similar manner.
