He was born 1952 and I have juse looked at Grace's pedigree (for the post in the PG) and found that she has this stallion in her lines as her great great great grandsire. Just out of curiosity, I also looked at Galan de Sauvagere because of the 'galan' bit of his name (Grace has Galant de la Court in there too) and this horse also has Ibrahim as his great grand sire.

As already said, he is one of the most important sires in Selle Francais breeding. In France he is classed as a 'Chef de race'. Amongst others he sired Alme, who sired Galoubet A, who sired Baloubet du rouet (sp).
