Any suggestions to keep feet warm whilst riding? My feet are painful, frozen lumps of ice :(. I have Mountain Horse Rimfrost Rider boots which are designed for cold, winter weather.

I have a variety of thermal socks thick and thin. Have also tried thin socks under my thermal socks.

The rest of me is toastie warm :).

Thanks

I have Ariat Iceberg tall boots which are insulated and keep my feet lovely and warm while riding. I also wear thermal socks, long johns, pants...

Keeping your legs warmer might help too. Try some full chaps or over trousers, or long johns.

Also get some warm insoles for your boots, and put a layer of kitchen foil under the insole.

Wool socks will keep you warmest.Try merino for maximum warmth.

I've had chilblains for the first time in over 20 years! I'd forgotten the damn thing existed. Put neem oil on and they seem to have gone.

I got some thermal socks from Lidl a few weeks back. When I got home I found that they were really thin material but had a slightly reinforced sole. I though they'd be useless but they seem to work especially if you wear a second thicker pair over them.

My feet always used to get so cold and numb, that I would find it hard to stand/walk after a long ride! After getting some Toggi (Canyon?) boots last winter that has now stopped, they are soo warm and I can even wear them with a normal pair of socks when it is minus outside.

All of the above + ariat connistons for me. Wear cycling shorts under my thermals and goretex trousers on top so no wind gets through. Sheepskin insoles if there is space.

Make sure there is enough space for air to circulate round your feet in the boots. If anything is too tight and there isnt space it will reduce blood supply to the area and also allow cold to conduct straight through to you.

I use these, they are amazing at keeping feet toasty warm and last a good 5 hours if your outside all day!

Not cheap for everyday riding (about £2 a day) but i only use them if outside a few hours and it is below freezing (or am hunting all day!) so well worth it my opinion!

Box of 20 pairs has lasted me all winter

Take some gingko biloba, or garlic or something to help your circulation. If it's circulation related, no thermaltastic boot is ever going to help.
