ICE HORSE Tendon Wraps

2 hours ice therapy?

I use Bonner bandages with the added advantage that you can use them on humans as well! I put them in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before putting them in a cool bag for taking to shows. Use them after XC

but they are difficult to find anywhere with stock at the moment

I use the ice cube bags that you can buy from the supermarket. Fill, freeze, keep in a cool box or bag with some solid ice packs, and then bandage over tubigrip.

Costs next to nothing ;)

I bought a couple of those hot/cold gel packs you can get from chemists, I made little cotton covers for them (yes sad I know!) and then just bandage them on, I find they hold the cold for hours, I just store them in a cool bag with a freezer block and even after 10 or so hours they are still cold enough to be useful - like these

Sis won a pair of these, they are really good as used a few times now. Pop the ice packs in the cool box with the food and still well icy by time come to use them, just have to make sure legs are wet before putting on. Thought about getting another set but just alternate between front and back legs after xc.
