Ice tight...

when ice tighting ( the cooling ice gel stuff ) do you all bandage the legs when you use it or do you just "slap" it on

Put it on, then paper then gamgee stuff and bandage overnight. Horse tries to lick it off otherwise! And always put travel boots on/put in stable straight afterwards, so would either stick to beding or boots otherwise!!

ah... well after our event today i thought he had a little swelling in his hind leg, so i put ice tight on that and then put wet brown paper and plastic on it, then covered with gamgee and bandage. but on the front i put the ice tight as a procotaion and just left it bare! ah well hes got plenty of hay!

With the Ice tight I'l put it on at the competition/place of strenuous work then put newspaper (so it doesnt mess up my gamgee) then gamgee and bandage. Travel him home, leave it on for an hour while I sort out lorry etc, unbandage, take it off and hose it off then turn him out (he lives out)
