Icelandic horses crash through ice

My word that looks scary, seems it wasn't that deep thankfully, and they all stood calmly! Quite brave of the people jumping in the water.
 
Looked like those ponies had total trust in the people, which was lovely to see.. i thought the gray was going to give up for a while tho

That was amazing, the horses were so good, I was worried for the grey for a time but it was heartwarming to see everyone pull together to get ALL of them out of the freezing water, sometimes humans can be awesome

Yes people were brave getting in amongst flaying hooves in that icy water but lest not forget the fact also that those ponies would not have even been in that situation were it not for the fact that humans were riding them across the ice in the first place.
They were brave but so they should have been in my opinion. The ice broke and it was an accident but how many times do we get lectured about going onto ice. In this case human error, the ice was too thin to be ridden on like that and it cracked. Ponies and riders fell in and ponies were rescued by humans which was the right outcome and thankfully all survived, even the grey which looked like it had given up at one point.
 

That was amazing, lucky ponies. I think they knew they had no choice but to put all their trust into the humans and not panic, bless 'em.
