Icelandic of Fijord

oh, they are both nice, I had a Fjord a long time ago he was great - but Icelandics can do Toelt which is quite fun to ride ...

Only ever ridden Icelandics and I have to say they are real sweeties

I rode some up in Shetland where (as your probably know!) they live out on the moors and seem to cope with it 100% fine x

Iam sure both are lovely but why not a Highland?

Have ridden both.

Personally I like Fjords because I used to work at a yard with one and he was the sweetest, loveliest horse. A g*t to jump but completely bombproof.

I would say that you need to find a couple of each to try and see what you think. The breed doesn't necessarily mean anything

Personally having ridden all three would go for a Highland any time...
