hmm I'm not so good with links and posting but was bored and looking on Dragon Driving, this ad is halfway down the 'all horses for sale newest advert first' page
'Coloured Colt - New Heavy coloured colt. Black & white coming two years old. 13.2hh now should make 14.2hh. Plenty of feather and good tail.'

Poor poor thing! A) that bed is gross! B) that stable isn't even Shetland sized (or high!) and C) why would that poor horse crammed into that stable 'sell' it to potential buyers? (unless they felt sorry for him, like me!) I do hope at least he is only in there for the picture and not kept in there for any period of time (not that that makes it better!)

Poor thing.

Might be more of a day stall like they have at some riding stables rather than something he lives in all the time.

Bed does need changing though.

Looks like a sweet pony.

Yep I hope so! I suppose in the 'olden days' then horses did live in stalls but it was the low roof and bedding yuk! and his face, like 'how do I get out?' Poor boy

awww the poor boy, although that doesn't look like a stable, it reminds me of a 'pit' in a garage, if it is then it's open on top unless you put the planks across so at least he doesn't have to be on his knees in there (not that that makes it any better really).

i hope someone buys him and gives him a good home.
i'm fed up with seeing these sorts of adverts, it's such a shame and a waste of (alot of the time) decent horses/ponies.

There is a well known dealer that has similar sized stables and more shockingly it used to be one of the welfare's yards. OK the stables might not have been exactly that size but when looking at a 17.2 in the stables there wasn't room to turn around. Very sad. I would imagine that it is a ploy tho to get people like you and me to want to get the horse out of there asap, like a lot of the skinny horse ads.

OMG he is gorgous and he looks like hes tied up but you wouldnt have really dirty bedding and a little stabler/ stall to sell a horse. I would try and convince my parents but not aloud any lol! he must have sooo much potential to the perfect owner! x

Yep that's a good point- certianly pulls at the heart strings! :( poor boy! People breeding horses that they have no point/care for other than to sell with no thought what quality the offspring is going to be- pees me right off! He does look like a lovely boy though but typically, too many people pumping out foals with no thought as to the quality of them/parents (not saying everything should be BSJA-ing to be able to breed btw but you know what i mean!)

Gosh that stall is atrocious, poor boy, I hope he doesn't live in there permanently.
On a side note though, I love the markings on his quarters! like a jesters hat, he has a two tone bottom.

I think I know which one you mean. I was so shocked when I went there with a friend a few years ago. Big horses being brought out of their tiny stables with injuries. It really was awful.

I think that it was previously a welfare centre for ponies...

Oh my gawd ive just looked at the pic. That poor lad. I cant believe how small that stable is, the beds discusting and that poor lad looks as if hes saying "please help me". He's gorgeous, i wish i could afford to buy him. I hope he finds a 5* loving and caring home asap. xxxx

The filly is for sale to offers around 3,000. The woman wasn't sure of her parentage apart from that her sire is Black Blagston (spelling?) who I haven't heard of so no comment there.

Really pretty filly with some groceries in her I reckon she'll show well.

Think it looks an awful place, just churning out to make money. Saw the 2 yr old being ridden by bloke with no hat, is he trying to prove a point? How can they warrent keeping so many colts entire? Not like they have any breeding or competative record?

You are kidding, they think they can get serious money for her??? Poor soul looks like she cost fifty quid off the meat wagon ramp as he didn't want her as there was no meat on her!

In the correct condition the filly will be worth thousands. This type of cob sells really well, however, there is NO excuse for allowing her to get into that state
