I would think it's because of her age - they probably want someone who is experienced at bringing on a youngster. Don't quote me though!

I bet if someone took some better photos she would look a lot nicer! I think the camera angles make her head look big. She looks rather hairy-headed at the mo - my andi/luso/connie is a hairy beast right now and also looks like someone has stuck a cob's head on another body! Bet she looks fab with her summer coat.
Don't kno why people crank horses' heads in so tight they can hardly breathe tho. A decent rider shouldn't need to do that to an iberian.

ahhhh found it now!!!!! she looks nice, it might just be me but that is quite young to use a market harborough and aren't they often used for hunting and things like that when the horse throughs it head out?? i personally don't like them they seem to just winch the horses head in. just my opinion though. :/

she's 5, she's had a foal and she's very immature-of course she's not balanced hence the ad stating they want experienced peeps. and am guessing she's a bit hairy 'cos it's Feb. you lot are hard to please!

i wouldnt want my 5 year old going like that she should be long and low and loose and relaxed. foal or not. she should be taken right back to the start IMO

The hairyness doesn't bother me at all, but anyone who knows even a little bit about starting a youngster correctly would see that these are really poor pictures showing a really unbalanced, tucked in, hollow horse working against its rider. That makes me think that the seller is not the most experienced person around and the mare would have to be un-taught everything she has learnt so far to start again. That would affect the price for me. You did ask...
