I have just bought one for my just backed rather round warmblood cross. It is very comfortable and I feel very safe in it, I seem to sink into to and it feels like it holds me in. I did my first real grownup hack 2+ hours and both my horse and me felt good. I am struggling with my schooling as my youngster is a bit naughty in the school but I feel safe in the saddle.
Mine is a WS not that I have a clue what that stands for, it was second hand but I think it had been barely used as the flocking was still soft and after two weeks the saddle fits really well as it has settled to her shape.

I believe that WS stands for Wide Seat.

It does :)

I have a Wide Ideal Apex WT GP on a H&C tree, but narrower head (for wide ponies with withers!). It's the low cantle one.

It's the 2nd Apex i've owned and they are just great!.

My 1st Apex was the high cantle version, but horse outgrew it, so sold it on Ebay.
