Ideal H&C Saddle

I have a friend who is looking for second-hand Ideal H&C saddle, 17" in black, wide fitting.

Have looked on the usual places, Horsequest, eBay etc., but can't find one. Does anyone know of saddlers who also deal in used saddles in the Midlands we can ring? Or any other good websites?

Alternatively if you know of anyone selling one, a PM would be most welcome

Does it have to be black? I have a brand new H&C xxwide in havana, that can be templated to the width she needs?.......

Hi, yes, the horse is piebald, and she really does look best in black tack.....

I have a 17 inch in brown wide Ideal H&C - has a few dings but as long as not bothered about that then it's up for sale.

Thank you both, and yes, Kallibear, I do know brown is more correct, but the friend does not want to show and has her heart set on black.

I saw the horse with a brown saddle on, and she does look soooooo much better with a black one, and who am I to interfere? I did try very hard though, but as my own Ideal is black, I can't put forward a very convincing argument, can I?!!

I have a black 17" one for sale. I think it is extra wide although my saddler recently slightly over flocked it to fit my mare who had lost a bit of weight and really needed a wide fit. PM if interested.
