Ideal impala pro jump/what jump saddle suits high wither?

What type of horses do you have these on?

I used to have an ideal impala pro jump and silly me, sold it! Now looking to buy another, does anyone know where's best to look for one second hand?

Or does anyone else know what kind of jump saddle may suit a high wither TB? Thinking the Devoucoux Chiberta?

Has anyone had any experience of the FLOCKED Mark Todd on TB Type?

I just bought the Ideal Impala 1450 and it fits my exceptionally high withered buy really nicely - the Albion XC (older style with suede knees fits well) on high withers but I'm not a fan of Albion - just dont fit me well - apart from the Revelation - funny that, with the highest price tag!
I found my impala initially advertised on the BD website (random) - there are ones from time to time on ebay and preloved too - I know of a 17.5 M black Crown model 1450 Impala available - at TDS Saddlers (they send out on a 7 day trial service) - i tried it but a smidge too narrow for my boy. There was a Pro Impala at Martin Wilkinson recently too but (i think?) it sold...they are out there, just seem rare - i guess because they are such great saddles, people dont often part with them. Keep an eye on www.saddlesdirect.co.uk website too...they offer a great service.
 
Yea, I'm looking on Saddles direct, I saw the one on martin wilkinson, and they sold it the morning I called up.... TDS are fairly local to me i think.... I'm in Basingstoke? Will try contact them now! I'm keeping an eye on ebay and preloved too, but everything seems to be MW!

My horse absolutely HATES albion unfortunately, so that's that one out the window :(

Ah ok, I have a 17" MW possibly for sale after next week. (Not sure saddler will be able to fit it to my youngster!)
 
Hi Jemma,

I know that they can be adjusted, but it doesn't change the shape of the panels and still wouldn't fit.... I've had one adjusted for my previous horse which then made the fit even worse! and then as they can only be adjusted once it reduces the sale value of the saddle :)
 
Ahhh it's 17.5" - the impala pro are only Ideal? :) Ideal have brought out Walsall saddle company previously known as Exselle, but still produce separate saddles :)
