Hi I wonder if anyone has any thoughts of the Ideal Impala Pro Jump? Fit for thoroughbred type and comfort?

I have a ISH youngster (will event late summer) who has a lot of making up to do, so don't want to spend a fortune on something for 3 months, but currently have the saddles for my old horse (albion k2 17.5 m dressage and jump). Both of which slip back despite trying prolite pad , le meuir sheepskin and breastplate as recommended by saddler to try and help.

Think it may be time to bite the bullet and look at getting a new saddle, as its not good for her or me. But on the other had I don't want to sell my saddles to potentially buy similar back down the line.....

I know others that found albions are not such a good fit for slighter horses.

Any thoughts appreciated - thank you!

I have one on an ISH and a TBx and its fits them both really well!

It's such a lovely saddle I absolutely love it, one of a few that fits my Long legs in :)

It's so secure and so comfy! It comes with matching stirrup leathers and girth too :D

I have heard it fits a lot of horses aswell

Lovelovelove it on my dutch warmblood, although only a 4 year old so not massively chunky. A K2 felt very bulky on him.

Don't like the impala much on my oldenburg to jump in, feel a lot safer in albion k2 jump.

Im not very helpful

i looked at getting an impala pro for Fabio after riding in one on a horse we went to view and really liked it. However, felt completely different on Fabio and went for a K2 instead. Would definitely try on your horse to get a feel of it as i couldn't believe how much i disliked it when trying on Fab.
