Phew, that's a mouthful!

Basically has anyone got/ridden in/seen one of these saddles?

I have the Impala for jumping and Millie goes really well in it so as I need a new dressage saddle, logic would say this may be a good bet but....
google produces no results and this saddle doesn't show up on the Ideal website??

I was going to wait a bit but looks like eventing will be a no-go next year as my consultant for my collarbone looked aghast when I mentioning jumping and the x-rays are certainly not showing a shoulder I would like to land on again :( :( :(

Thanks all

I have the Ideal Impala Pro for jumping, and an Ideal Roella Dressage and love it. Not seen or heard of the Impala Pro Dressage though.

thank you everyone, nice to know you are all as bemused as me!

why don't Ideal have the Pro range on their website?

and jemima_too you can't buy that one as that is the one I found and made me post this thread! ;)

buh buh buh but I WANT it! Now she is a dressidge diva she NEEDS it, I mean three tests and we really NEED to get matchy matchy and have a pretty saddle . . . don't we?

I won't even be matchy matchy as I really need a brown dressage saddle but finding what I want in brown is impossible!

And you should let me have it out of sympathy as I am not allowed to leave the floor for at least the next 8 months- may even be permanent as they don't think they will be able to take the plate out :( :(

*giggles*

I was being rather ironic as we have seriously only done three tests - at Prelim! Hardly sufficient to warrant going out and getting all blinged up although *blowing her own trumpet* the most recent one was a rather pleasing win by 13%! And tbh the rest of the turnout does rather leave a lot to be desired, think overstuffed tweed bag of spuds tied up tightly with three pieces of string round the middle, so perching that lot on a pretty little saddle like that would be like seeing a rugby ball on a pretty eggcup.

Buy it and enjoy it!

But it if it doesn't fit can I have first refusal?:D

you laugh, I want it for my racing bred tb who moves like a sewing machine and has so far only competed at unaffiliated Novice.

You can definitely have 2nd dibs if it doesn't fit (sod's law, someone else will have already bought it by now! :)) I'm just glad my game of sympathy trumps worked! ;)

I bought one at the start of the year and I absolutely love it. Sadly it doesn't fit horse properly now - we have been making do with a riser pad for a couple of months - but I know I will have to replace it soon. If I could though, would get the same saddle again

Oooh - if it's a brown one I know someone who will be VERY interested!
