Does anyone have one of these? And if so what do you think and what sort of horses do you think it fits best?

Many thanks

Yes, I have one. Have been using it for a few yrs. What I like about it is - I can get it in brown, & it is really comfy, compared to some other dressage saddles that offer very little support and feel like a board. The price is reasonable too.
I had a saddler out to template my horse - When they ordered the saddle they asked for some adjustments to be made so I could put extra flock down the side. Not sure what kind of horse this saddle is best for - best to ask a saddler.

I have one and i love it. I tried a few before the jessica some
were way over £1000, i loved this one the most. I bought mine from ebay hardly used for £280 so a bargin. my horse is a TB if it helps, but i have also had it on a more stocker horse.

I have one, its the best for comfort that I have ridden in. I've used it on my WB and an ID/TB, as well as people borrowing it to practice sitting trot on.(suede seat and knees!)

Hi there, I had one of these for my pony, God bless her she doesn't need it now so I had a saddler come and see if it would fit my young warmblood who's very flat backed: no such luck. My saddler said that the saddle had a curvy tree and would therefore be much better on a curvy backed horse like a tb for example.

I've got one that I bought for my previous horse that doesn't fit my new warm blood. It didn't fit the horse it was bought for very well either!

I think it'd fit a tb type alot better.

Has one fitted my 15.3 connie/arab/tb cross perfectly as was wonderfully comfy. However it just wouldn't sit anywhere on my next horse which was a 16.3 idxtb.
So he had the Ideal Suzannah Dressage saddle.

New 15hh Andalucian has the Ideal Elizabeth Dressage saddle.

Thing is all breeds can come in varying shapes.

There's many ideal dressage saddles now all on different shaped trees and all in a similar price range so you should find something to suit your chap.

They will also swap panels about, I got the close contact one but with normal flaps as the tree suited my horse but I'm comfier with conventional panels.

Still came in about £1200 which for made to measure dressage saddle of good quality , I think is a bargin.

No I don't work for them

17.1 WB came with one and being honest I hate it.... often heard describing it like sitting in the bucket seat of a sports car! Much prefer the albion or Sue Carson Harmony

I have 2 and i love them. One fits my WBxTB and the other was made to measure to fit my cob x. Both fit my horses very nicely. They are soooooo comfy to ride in as well

The jessica isnt great for horses that need a deeper pannel ( tb types that have more of back profile ) .

My new ideal suzannah dressage saddle is being fitted a week today , i can hardly wait. This is particulary suited to tb types

The jessica is a nice saddle but like every saddle only good if its fits the horse.
