Debating purchasing a dressage saddle for my mare as our Albion legend (jumping model) is not particularly great for flatwork  Was having a look at the Jessica as you can pick them up at a fairly decent price but the only thing putting me off is the lack of knee blocks! Our local few saddlers don't have any in so I'l try a few further a field to see if there are any in stock, but what are peoples opinions on them?

I have four of them in various sizes/ fittings they are a good saddle for the money comfortable and the advantage of the lack of blocks is that you put the stirrups up a bit and go for a hack .
Mine have been put onto the flair system have belonged to many horses I tend to use them until the horse finishes its bulk of growing and shape changing then if the horse is doing a lot of flat work I buy some thing custom for that horse.

I love mine, and that's after searching for a saddle that both horse and I liked for a long time.

He is a bouncy boy, and I feel very secure in the Jessica... and as previous poster has said, it is a very versatile saddle, I have also done Le Trec, long hacks and small jumps in it - but it has a nice deep seat and from the horse's point of view, a good wide gullet and it leaves his shoulders free.

I often find myself looking at eBay ads for another :D (mine is a very old version with a slightly faded suede seat and it would be nice to have a leather seat one...).

Thanks for the feedback :) Just want something decent but not to expensive atm as mare still has alot of muscling up etc to do. Whats the difference between the fit of the suzannah and jessica?
