Ideal Suzannah Dressage Saddle

I'm trying to locate an Ideal Suzannah second hand but not having much luck - anyone seen one anywhere I might not have looked? More specifically looking for a 17 1/2 Medium.

Also just incase anyone has tried both, any ideas how it compares to the Albion SLK Ultima?

oooh, I have seen those, only thing is I'm 5'8 and horse is 17hh Dutch WB with high wither - do you think there would be that much difference?
 
i am 5"8 and find the Savanna so comfy, rode in lots of dressage saddles but this is my favourite. Note though the seat size comes up very big, in most dressage saddles i'm a 17.5" but my Suzzana is a 17". I tried a 17.5" and it was too big. I've measured my 17" and it is more like a 17.5". Lovely saddle though.
 
Ah thaks for the tip - they're all so different, I've been researching and looking for a dressage saddle for months now and there's just so much to consider!
 
Ah thank you! I have borrowed a 2nd hand SLK Ultima that I'm getting a fitter to come out and look at in a couple of weeks but with my not-so-good saddle fitting skills I think it is currently too low on his high withers (Dutch WB but with high wither, had KS operation which put a bit of a dip in his back) and doesn't sit flush at the back. The girth straps can be moved further back and there seems to be plenty of room for re-flocking, hence getting the fitter out, but not sure if she will be able to adjust it enough - the description of the Suzannah seems to suggest it is more built for high withered horses

Horsey Welsh - yes! £1k difference in the price tags for new ones of both, I definately couldn't afford a new Albion!
 
I have a Ideal Suzannah 17.5" Med fit for my TB with a massive wither and it fits like a dream, and it's really really comfortable! I am selling it to fund an Ideal 1350 GP though

i might be prepared to sell my Ideal Suzannah 17.5", it's medium (for high-withered tb) brown, buffalo flaps, suede seat and knee rolls, serge panels, white wool flocked, extra foam padding on seat, less than 2 years old. pm me if interested.
it's a lovely saddle, very very comfy.
 
Thanks Kerilli - sounds lovely but I am after black - I spent too much on my black Albion KB Competition Weymouth to get a brown bridle to match

i bought a suzanna MW last year, took my horse over to the saddlers & rode in 3 , one being the ultima, i decided on the suzanna as it was very much like the ultima, the massive price diff (as i was buying new) made it no contest for me
