godd, ive just got a 3/4 tb out on loan, whilest my ex polo is on box rest, an to be honest, i wish id hunted around the polo clubs first. but i not keen on the tb ive just got, shes 6y/o an doesnt seem to like to jump much - whereas i LOVE it, and ie been offered a sound ex polo frm a club! wich im seriously considering.. but i cant afford my horse on box rest, the tb + another ex polo, id like not to have the tb, but what would i tell the owner? - she would be very angry with me, as i know, but do you think there is any way i should/could deal with this?
Godd, i really regret not looking around the polo clubs first! i no i should of!

When you tried her before you got her did you jump her? If yes, did she enjoy it? If yes then it may just be a case of settling into a new owner before she gets into it.
To me you've made a commitment to the owner by having the horse on loan and if you weren't 100% sure about her you should have thought harder about it, I'm sure you know this though. However if you really aren't happy with her then the only thing you can do is talk to the owner. Tell her how you feel but you don't want to let her down and go from there.

I think you shouldnt have taken on a horse you dont like. Just because its on loan is not the point, horse ownership is a responsibility that shouldnt be taken so lightly.

I think you should be honest with the owner of the loan horse and give him back. Then have a serious think about any new horse you may get so that it doesnt get moved about like a car.
