Ideas for in hand fancy dress for horse and rider :P ??

How about Bride and Groom white cotton/satin sheet for horse, net curtain scrunched up to make a veil attached to top ofbridle , big posy of crete paper flowers on chest where sheet joins and as much bling attached to look like wedding gown. Dressage tail coat and black trousers and top hat for grrom with matching button hole. !!!

One of the best ones I saw (and judged) was a batman in the batmobile! (they had made a cardboard cutout of the bat mobile and hung it either side of the horse! was awesome! but very well behaved horse!)

Me and a little section A i used to ride went to a fancy dress as humpty dumpty and a brick wall. I painted a bedsheet as a wall and put it under his saddle, and padded myself out with a well secured cushion.
 
Umm many moons since I've done this but 1 that worked really well was the Wizard of Oz - you as Dorothy, horse as cowardly lion (big mane and black nose), tin man (foil covered plant pots) and scarecrow (straw + dungarees/trousers and and old shirt) tied on to the lion, small dog as Toto, painted yellow sheet as yellow brick road - voila

I had green gear and sword i think and pony had a tutu and stockings and suspenders!! it looked so great. Didn't get placed though
