As the title reads really, what sort of feature would you like to read about in a magazine that was specifically to do with riding? I don't want to put any more detail as I've been slated in the past for promoting things so just would like some ideas.

The importance of rider fitness, how being fitter can make you a safer and more effective rider, and tips on how to work on specific things to correct common riding errors.
Exercises to do away from the horse

I used to really enjoy when one horsey mag did a feature on a breed each issue comparing it to a car ie cob = landrover of sorts and it was funny an interesting.

I'd prefer to read general information where I can learn facts (origins of different equestrian pursuits/tack/breeds/anything along those lines) than specfix schooling problems and how to solve them - whilst useful if I had a problem in the school I'd go to an instructor, not a magazine in the first instance.

Editor says it has to be riding feature but I'm struggling with inspiration this month as moving house and studying at the same time as working and being a single mum lol. Hmmm side saddle maybe...thanks

A stealth client test of riding establishments, incl comments how the horses are kept, price vs service, training and quality of the instructors and the steeds...

Western Riding gives you a excuse to have a great day at somewhere like www.sovereignquarterhorses.com learning about this fantastic classical way of riding and training .. the other thing is a proper road test of trailers !! not just a recycling of guff from the manufactures PR department like most magazines do in there so called transport features,

How about a feature on trying a horse to buy. Not everyone is used to riding different horses and some idea of how to approach riding a horse at the first viewing, what to look for and how to assess it etc could be very helpful.

judging by what you see people asking for advice on, i would like to see the most basic things such as the good and effective seat, the correct use of the hands, basic schooling for the begginer, all relevant considering how many people hack out or would like to.

it would be useful and a good reminder for even the experienced to run through these subjects as i think getting the basics right is what leads to progress in whatever area of equitation you ride in.
