Firstly, am feeling very guilty. Friend has just been scammed on £2200 on an Ifor trailer - to cut a long story short, she bought from ebay, from a seller who had a buy it now price, but within the text, not on a buy it now. Invoice arrived, from ebay, through email, and she did a wire transfer. Yes, very silly in hindsight, didn't check ebay, but paid on the email invoice. Needless to say, trailer didn't arrive. We have informed ebay who have washed their hands of it, contacted the police who may contact fraud squad. I work for a letting agent and we have some coppers on our books, so will get onto them first thing am to try and push it forward. Friend sold her 505 because my boy wouldn't fit on and this was the 510 going to arrive that he would get on. So feel awful.
If I had 2200 I would of course, give it to her. However, I don't. We are off on a trip at the beginning of May for a week, which is why we wanted the bigger trailer.
We are based in Devon. Anyone got a Rice, or 510 or any larger trailer that they don't need from 1st - 8th May for hire that I can pay for and hire so that at least that is a start?
