My cat had an operation last week and he has to wear a Robert Jones splint for the next 6 weeks which is due to be changed tomorrow, now the vet has said I can do them as I have done a Robert Jones on a horse but how in the flip am I suppose to do one on a cat, they aren't exactly the most cooperative creatures alive!!

I like the way vets always say you can do things at home, but the one they did on the cat was whilst it was under GA. Also if I want the vet to do it its £50 odd for the robert jones plus consultation

If you need to relax it the cheapest method is a hammer & a light tap on the head. Works for mine, but it could explaine why he finds it difficult to walk in straight lines!!!

Oh god this b---dy system, it said temp out of serv now there are 3 replies!!! I am not going do lally this morning it is the H&H server!! (A bad workman may blame his tools but in this case it is sooo true)

AnastasiaLLT1 I can assure my cat has the life of rily, he only gets hit on the head when he misbehaves, mind you he now looks like Clarance the cross eyed Lion & has trouble walking in straight lines, but other then that, he is one fine cat.
