I am doing a fancy dress dressage test (Riding Club) in December and am after some ideas for fancy dress! All suggestions welcome!!!

My daughter has done some xmas fancy dress stuff and has been a fairy and her and the grey pony she had wore wings and lots of silver and lilac tinsel and obviously white sheet etc!! She has been a reindeer with a stuffed fur costume and a reindeer hat cover and bay pony wore antlers. Last year she was an elf with all red and green costume with lots of bells and flashing fairy lights, pony wore a xmas checked green and red table cloth fashioned into an excercise sheet. She has also been a xmas pudding. Needless to say, she is refusing to dress up for it this year, other than a bit of tinsel!! Asda and cheap home stores do a great selection of xmas costumes nearer to the time and are only about £10 to £15 and you can jazz them up a bit. Sometimes cheaper and easier than making from scratch. You could wear all green with brown jods and hang baubles off you and those battery powered xmas lights, stick a fairy or a star to the top of your hat and be a xmas tree,
