Hi there,
I recently purchased a used Cliff Barnsby dressage saddle. It has numbers stamped on the near flap and stirrup bar. I am hoping someone who is familiar with this saddle maker can tell me what model it is. On the flap is stamped S7605 and on the stirrup bar it is somewhat difficult to make out, but looks like it may be BS 6635. I hope someone can help. Thanks, M. from Canada.

The BS reference is a British Standard, which is a manufacturing standard, so won't help you to identify the saddle. The reference number would be useful to identify the model if you were able to contact the manufacturer, but, sadly, I understand they've recently gone into liquidation (I'm sure someone will correct me on that if i'm wrong) so not sure you'd be able to contact them to ask.

No very helpful, but there are saddlers on here who may be able to give you more information.

ask on facebook....i have an ideal saddle that im selling and i genuinly didnt know the model.... or saddles direct - they are pretty good :]

Thank you, sbloom. I'll do that. I was told it is a top end saddle that retailed in Canada for $3300 Canadian new. It is in very good condition and is a very comfortable saddle.
