We've just readvertised my 5 year old due to some timewasters wasting a lot of our time...!!

And it clearly says on the advert that he is 5 and 16.2hh and we had 4 phonecalls yesterday from people after keeping us on the phone for 20 minutes saying "I think he's probably too big and too young". Well it does say VERY clearly on advert that's what he is so why bother ringing in the first place!! The fact that he's hunted brilliantly for a whole season and is probably more worldly wise than most 5 year olds is neither here nor there!!
 
I feel your pain!

When I was selling a just turned 2yo, amongst the calls I got were two that stick out in my mind, both started off asking how much training he had had, to which my reply was - he's JUST 2! (it was stated clearly in the ad btw) one went on to ask if he would be suitable for her 8yo to ride, the other wanted him for her husband to learn to ride on (this was a PRE btw!), the first one did not argue when I said categorically NO! The second one however, despite having just proved her lack of horsesense by even thinking her husband could learn to ride on a 2yo PRE, argued that as she already had a horse for 2 years(a 15yo cob), she was more than able to a) teach her husband and b) bring on a youngster, needless to say I did not let her anywhere near by 2yo!
