Idiots guide to adding solar panel for fencing

Hi

i have searched on here and the internet for answers to my problem but I still don’t understand how you add a solar panel to a conventional energiser.

Some answers seemed to indicate that you put two sets of clips onto the two battery terminals bit I don’t see how both would fit?

Photos of someone’s set up would be great. Or any clear instructions.

My panel crocodile clips go on the battery terminals horizontally, then I clip the energiser ones onto the top of the terminals from above, so they are vertical - if that makes sense

Yes clip the charger ones on the battery first then clip the solar panels ones onto them
Sorry don't have a pic, mines dismantled atm

You can clip one set of clips to the other set of clips.

Funny story. I asked one of my liveries to clip the energiser clips to the panel clips on the battery. Wasn't til the 3rd escape that I realised she'd clipped the clips to the plastic bits of the other clip.
