Idle pair!

Before going to work this morning I head off down the field as usual armed with fly repellent and carrots. Both horses where lying down having a kip. Now usually I leave it and wait til they get up, but today I need to be in London early so carried on down the field.

Neither got up! I fed them each a carrot as they lay there like lord and lady, wiped their faces with fly repellent, gave them a good spray over. Gave them a parting extra strong mint each and left them to continue their beauty sleep. Other than one of them giving a groan they never moved a muscle

I think you could safely say they are chilled out horseys

My old mare always used to have 'breakfast in bed'

she wouldnt get up in the mornings so i'd put the bucket on the floor and shed munch away
