On my horsehunt have found this chap, 8yo IDx welsh sec D, 16.1hh. After always having had TBs and ISH, i wanted something a little less "complicated"!! Have hacked him out and schooled him, he is very light on his feet and on your hands, i was quite surprised!! He is a little overweight i know but would love you CC on him.
He would be used as an allrounder!

Was that picture taken on a slope? He looks very bum high in it! Have you got any other pics? don't know if he is stood funny but to me front doesn't seem to match the back end :o
Sorry couldn't be that much help!

I copied & pasted your URL into the 'Insert Image' icon :)

ETA: He is a nice looking sort with plenty of bone. Looks bum high in the first pic but looks fine in the 2nd.

Ah, Clever!! With your advice sunshine, will try again!!...... Nope, still cant do it! lol, sorry im such a numpty with computers!!

Anyway, what do you all think? will the bum high cause issues? what about the rest of him?

The first photo (in the stable yard) is very deceptive because he is not fully sideways on. Even so, f you draw a line under his front hooves to under his hind hooves and then a second line from the top of his withers to the top of his hindquarters, you can see that he's actually pretty level (as you can sort of see in the ridden pic).

I really like what I see, plenty of bone, fantastic shoulders and a powerhouse for a bum! Got yourself a nice horse. With a few months of correct feeding and schooling, he'll look like a different horse. I'd hog him and take his feathers off, he'd make a nice show cob.

Lovely lad, good shoulder and gorgeous head, looks like very powerful hind quarters. I know you have not seen his passport but I don't think he looks 9 also can't see much ID in him, he looks like a full Welshie to me. He is gorgeous and looks like a good horse to me.

I like him,a lot. But as to ID as I said I can't see it.I stand ready to be corrected though.

^^^^ ditto this. he does look full welsh

I think he's lovely! I'd love to have him!

as he's a bit croup high it will make him hard to work from his quarters, but if you're not planning on top level dressage then I don't suppose it'll be much problem! And you say he's light on his feet and your hands, so sounds pretty good to me!
