A lot of 'ifs' involved as it would depend on many other factors.

To have someone arrested it needs to be necessary, legal and proportionate.

Depends on the circs but I think it would be unlikely that someone would be arrested. Most likely interviewed and reported for the offence which will have the same end result but without the detention of the person involved.

The end result would also depend on how far you would go as a victim. Some people just report things but do not want any prosecutions.

Would also depend on any injuries sustained.

Depends on any other witnesses. It won't stop a prosecution but often the CPS will only run with a case if they have a chance of winning it unfortunately.

Lots of ifs and buts so can't give a definative answer, sorry. Each set of circumstances would be dealt upon its own merits.

oh my god cant believe silver_robin message! that's awful
was the driver speeding? I would go to the police and see what they say, if they havn't got the reg number it can be difficult to do anything but if at least they have the car model, colour, etc or any witness
I would so sue the f***er if that happen to my horse
I just want to remind everybody to please insure themselves and their horses, i know it is a bit of money each month but the risk is too big
