if a shoe is loose the clenches will always be raised you maybe able to pull it away front the foot it will make a higher sound than the of a not loose shoe when the shoe is also slightly twisted it is said to be loose
Cause that is what she is doing however, I've assumed she has something properly wrong with her. I done everything you would do but I'm sweating on the farrier...they'll be along soon...Mon/Tues but I was toying with some bute if she was in pain? I'm glad I haven't as I think she has nothing wrong with her but a pair of knackered shoes...we do a lot of roadwork....Thank you everyone I'll enjoy my Sunday evening and look for ticks on my dogs
The horse would probably ride alright but in riding with a loose shoe you may make it more loose & cause it to twist & you wouldn't want the horse to be riden with a twisted shoe.
After a very awful shoeing- only 2 weeks ago my horse has lost one hind and has 3 loose shoes!!
Weird thing i noticed is that it clicks, not the usual tinny sound but like a joint clicking- not sure if maybe one shoe is hitting the other as he walks? Never heard it before with a loose shoe though!
