I've just received a letter from them with this offer, and after placing an order, checked whether I could pass it on.
they are increasing output with a second production line in the Luton depot, so delivery times are much shorter than before.
Offer stands for all orders placed before 31 Aug, which gives a bit of time. 10% off, the reference you need to use is OFFER-A.
Just in case they ask where you heard about the offer, please say Kerry, ta.

Ooh, thats brilliant thank you! Have just been considering changing back to Ecobed, so I should ring them I guess! I don't suppose you know roughly how much it is per pallet load at the moment do you? If not don't worry, I'm just being lazy rather than waiting until mon to ring them!

sorry, i don't know cos i didn't ask, i know it depends a bit on where you are, i pay extra for the derv cos i'm out in the boondocks.

give them a call on Monday and find out, hope it's good news!

Just a quick question K...would ecobed mix with shavings?

I don't know if you read the posts about my latest gee gee? She's 1.5 condition, is undergoing some pretty intense dental work (10mm of excess tooth length removed so far and we're not halfway there) she's an older lady and likes a nice, firm bed or won't ly down. She doesn't like straw, I have her on about 8" of shavings but she has a sodden wet patch every morning, was wondering if you thought maybe ecobed mixed with the shavings or in the wee area might help? But she feel as though she was firm and stable or is it very 'movey'?

Oh, and I went on your advice of EDT and he's fabulous!

yes, it mixes fine with shavings, i did this for a bit when i ran out of Ecobed and they couldn't deliver for a couple of weeks.
it is warmer than shavings, so your girl might like it more. i use it on EVA matting because i do a 6" deep 1/2 bed and keep the cardboard super-clean and it does move - to get it more stable, i've found i either need to do a full deep bed, or it needs to be a big damp on the bottom. i've foaled mares on it with no probs though, the foals could get up fine, in a deep bed of it. hope that helps a bit. hope your girl comes on quickly. yes, another plug for James Arkley EDT, he is fab, glad you agree!

Maybe I ought to bed the spare stable down on it and see how she likes it then...if she doesn't then she can move back into her 'other bedroom' and Vogue can have that one...The spare stable is 14X16 and the only one to have matting down-the two stables that she and Vogue use are 22X20 and I couldn't afford to mat them just now as I keep getting these pathetic looking creatures who seem to keep my vet in new cars and probably pay his mortgage!

I ought to send you a pic of the old girl then and now, with not seeing her daily you might be able to tell a difference weight wise. James noticed a weight increase between his initial visit and her first lot of treatment, which was just under 3 weeks apart, and the time between she was fed fibre mushes. Now he can manage most of her hay and proper feeds, along with a good worming and vet MOT so it should be piling on. Trouble is though, she's so, so skinny it's going to be a long, long time. I thought Henry was skinny but I'm sure she'd make him look porky lol

I've used Ecobed ever since you recommended it to me!

I got the same letter earlier this week, the day after I had five pallets delivered!

Now I'm just hoping they will let me have the discount on it, making a saving of £85!

I have just read your message about ecobeds price reduction.

I actually buy cardboard bedding from a different company that make it called ecobale. the product is the same but they are much cheaper.
I am not sure which areas they deliver to as I collect from thier facory in Ely Cambs.
the website is www.ecobale.co.uk

Hope this helps.
