Hi guys
Bit of a lazy request on my behalf, but I thought as its school holidays and all, someone might want to have a bit of fun helping me with this...

Basically I have 39 5ft wooden jump wings, and no poles. There are another 27 wings somewhere but I have lost them and currently can't locate them, so we'll forget about those for the time being! You can also ignore the odd wing, so let's work with 38 wings.

I need to order poles, but am not sure how many I should order currently to make a decent course. The wings are un painted so I'm thinking i could paint and match all individual jumps.

This is as far as I have got:

1 x-pole jump - 2 wings 2 poles
1 upright - 2 wings 2 poles
1 white gate/oxer - 4 wings 2 poles 1 gate
1 planks - 2 wings 3 planks

I would like 1 double, one treble - for the double thinking 6 wings and 5 poles?
No idea what would be good for a treble?

So if anyone fancies designing me a course or naming me some 'must have' jumps, be my guest :D

ps. am not really expecting any replies, but thought it was worth a try! ;)

I can't help with the jumps but I am interested to know how much space you have that you can lose 27 jump wings :)

Me too. I'm also wondering if you need to temporarily off load some of this space (it's clearly too much for you to keep track of :p) to someone who will help you look after it (i.e. let me stick my horses on it and use your epic new course of jumps ;) lol).

I would work on the basis of 2 poles per jump, allowing for x poles and uprights, but leaving you surplus poles when you put a single back rail on an oxer, which you can use to fill out larger jumps etc. Minus poles for plank jumps and minus one pole per set of fillers? I think that's essentially what you're planning on in the first post. As for a course, the possibilities are endless. How much space do you have / what shape / terrain etc?
