Watching the England game this afternoon, OH and I were saying what positions our dogs would play in if dogs played football.

We decided Luna would play in midfield as she has speed and stamina.

Aled would be the goalie. He’s quite a big lad, so would fill quite a bit of space between the posts, plus he is fantastic at grabbing the ball out of the air. Downside being, once he made a save, he would then spend the next 10 mins destroying the ball.

Anyone else?

Dog 1: Right wing. Zipping all over the place like a looney, never stopping. Covers 20 miles when you've done ten.

Dog 2: Defender. Solid, reliable, like a brick wall if you run into him or vice versa :p

Actual footballers/personality wise, Dog 1 has always reminded me of Vinnie Jones, but with Ruud Gullit's hairdo.
Dog 2, Sergio Ramos.

Can I do rugby? I have no idea about football! Brandy - Chris Robshaw, not glamorous but always there and doing the right thing. Tawny - Owen Farrell, bossy and efficient. Pen - Johnny May, fast! Smutley Spaniel? Anyone who gets yellow carded a lot!

I know nothing about rugby, lol.

Aled would be Gary Lineker, just a gentleman.

Luna, hmm, Christiano Ronaldo for looks, Gazza for the clown like attitude.
