She has finally done it :) a pony club lesson completely on her own :)

He was really stubborn though ( not at all like him) and he bucked and shyed in one movement, and she did not even react until every shouted ' good girl, well done ':)

At the end the instructor spoke to me and said ' she has really impressed me today, she got him going beautifully , and I know she is upset we have split the groups up and she is not with her friends any more, but hat she needs to remember is that she has a very tricky pony, and when they all go onto bigger ponies, she will fly because Levi is teaching her to ' ride'.

I was bursting with pride, any way here is a little rubbish photo proving she did it all on her own, and he really is not that fat, it is a really bad angle :), infect his girth has gone up 2 holes :)

And the instructor is true! She will be leaps and bounds ahead of the others in terms of knowing how to handle a tricky pony! :)
 
Any post where a mummy or daddy feels proud of their human offspring is good for me! Well done, mini MW!
 
Thank you :D she is still talking about it :), apparently she loves her pony NOW!!!! I was under the understanding she always did :D

Bless her, it has been a long time coming, she bombs about on the riding school ponies, but after Levi bucked her off and stood all over her, her confidence had gone :( I am so glad I took her where I learned to ride, in a matter of weeks she is totally different, I wish I had done it sooner :)
 
Ah,sweet post:) Good girl,holding on in there! 'I love my pony!' sounds like she feels it was all worthwhile and is raring to go:)
 
Well done mini MW and cheeky Levi! Sounds like he is taking it as his personal mission to set her up to cope with any horse she comes across in the future. She is very brave girl because I for one know how difficult it is to overcome confidence issues you have every right to rave about how proud you are :)
 
Naughty ponies make them want it more! Al only ever had monsters growing up (freebies tend to be free for a reason, it turns out!) and because it was so much harder she had to really want to go out and compete and do stuff. Now, she's making a career of it while all her friends who had the nicer ponies are packing it in as it's getting harder...
