If money was no object would you set up your own stud/yard?

i have always said if i was ever fortunate enough to win the lottery i would love to set up my own stud.I would source a couple of nice foundation mares and would love to have two or three stallions with the idea of having walk in mares rather than borders.Either that or having some sort of rehab centre . What would you do if money was no object ?
 
YES!!!! I would love to have my own place with fantastic facilities for normal people i.e. i'd have all the facilities top full livery yards have but offer DIY so us normal people can benefit as well

I'd also breed Arabs and train them all to Grand Prix dressage

and I would go and buy all the poor horses going for meat money at the sales and have a huge farm where they could roam free..... if only
 
We always said we would set up a riding for the disabled centre if we won the lottery.

we have the space, as we are lucky enough to own our own farm and stable yard. although we have a lovely mortgage that goes with it!!!

nice to dream though - unless there are any investors out there that want to make it reality !!!
 
i'd set up a mixed yard, some breeding (cos i love having foals and youngsters around) and the rest competition horses etc. all my grooms etc would be very very well paid and treated, with lovely accomodation, proper holidays, not overworked, etc etc. i'd set my wonderful trainer up in the yard, and offer low-cost training.
i'd have a rescue centre too.
i'd also like to do something alongside with homeless, drug addicts etc etc learning to look after the horses. isn't that what they do at San Patrigiano? supposed to be very good.
so, i suppose i'd better go and get a lottery ticket for this week, cos fortune favours those with good intentions, or something.

id prob like to have two schools ,two horse walkers a closed board round pen ,an isolation unit,covering barn,stallion barn,state of the art foaling boxes all with cctv,solarium,hydrotherapy pool ,a couple of huge american barns sliding doors both end all loddon boxes with sliding doors and turning mangers ,a vet room and a sitting up room.Think i wuold need to rob a bank too!!!!!!!
 
I would set up a massive equestrian competition centre. Id have 2 huge indoor schools (one for warm up) and 2 outdoors - along with a really nice modern cafe and lovely toilets! And hold decent 3-day-type BSJA competitions etc. Also would want lots of land for the XC course for BE comps, oh and a jump cross AND Le Trec course! If only!
 
Yup, want a nice little mixed livery yard (Grass liveries (DIY) and Full liveries) with some breeding stock.
Just enough to have other peeps about with me and my horses.
I like having my own yard but I also like have other peeps about.
I would find having my own place with no other peeps really dull and boring.
 
I wouldn't want a stud or a livery yard or a professional yard.

I would however, love to have a couple more horses, a decent school and decent paddocks, a nice lorry, oooh all these great things!

The idea of rescuing some horses or other animals really appeals too.
