If only... I had stuck to my planned route out hacking... or
If only... I had turned back when I saw the fiesty cows... or
If only... I hadn't taken the dumbass route through the woods to try and dodge said fiesty cows... or
If only... I had realised the branch was a bit too low and the ground rose the other side... or
If only... I'd got off and led the horse under it... or
If only... I had been wearing a slightly shoddier jumper which ripped instead of hooking...

Then I mightn't have been pulled off the horse to land thump on my backside and henceforth be in blummin agony.

But the biggest If Only of the lot...?
