Does anyone else remember this tv programme??

I was one of it's biggest fans- absolutely gutted I can't find it on YouTube :( Does anyone have the video or know where I may be able to sneakily find it on the internet?? I will be humming the theme tune all day now that I have thought about it!!

My favourite was Bryony and her mum who presented it....and for some reason the two shows that most stick in my head were the ranch holiday one were they all jetted off to Wyoming and ate some form of pancakey/potato smush on a trail round a campfire for breakfast and the one teaching about grooming with the hrose that spoke and escaped when he wasn't tied up properly!!!

Kids these days need more prgrammes like this! Even though I came from a hrosey family, I still used to quote how they taught everything on here- probably used to drive my mum mad!!! How to lunge, groom, rising trot etc etc...

Would love to watch it again!!

I've got it on Video! I didn;t come from a horsey family as such but my auntie had ponies from a very young age, and thus, when I became interested she made it her mission to get me something horse-related every birtdhay and christmas....and I must say 'if wishes were horses' was a firm favourite :-)

I have the video too

*sings* when you're cleaning tack, when you're moving muck, when you're doing all your chores. You don't seem to mind, still you're having fun because you know you and your horse are, friends, friends, friends

:D

I got really excited when this thread thinking it was back on!

I have a couple of the videos one that was taped off the tv in the loft and have actually been asking dad recently to get them down!

Would love to be able to get them/see them again!! :)

Oops Sorry!!! Wish it was though...realllllyy want to watch it now!!!

Maybe someone with the videos should record it and we can have a YT premier?!!!!!!

Yeah I remember this well. Was thinking about it the other day thinking it would be great to see it again. But cant find it anywhere. Had it on vhs taped off the tv but my dad just went through the vhs and he couldnt find any.
I think channel 4 needs to bring it back on tv. The kids need programmes like this nowadays. lol

Haha I used to love this too. Have got the videos somewhere but they in rather bad condition due to over use ;)
A piece of advice that has stuck with me but is of no practical use is to muck collect using two pieces of wood. I can even remember the exact words the presenter uses "Not with a fork Bryony, a couple of pieces of wood are best." I have tried and can tell you it is not a quick or easy way of muck collecting :) oh god so many thing coming back to me.......I need to find those videos!

Oh wow I had forgotten about that programme! I used to have them all recorded off the tv on vhs....I would watch them over and over again! Loved it! My daughter would love it must see if I can find it anywhere for her!

Adored it, as did my sister! We had the Channel 4 book as well: in fact, we had to have one each to stop up fighting over it! My faves were the bay mare and her owner, who had special reins as she'd shortened arms. Sophie and Chloe was it?

My mum has them all on video at home - love this programme, I learnt so much from it when I was a kid :)
My favourite episodes were the one's where they went on the ranch holiday & when they held the gymkhana at the yard, good times :D

I think the girl was called Sharon :) not sure about the horse though.

Going to resurrect this, I was just googling it today! Wonder what happened to all the riders, whether they continued with horses or not? Some of the older ones looked like they could be quite good. And Ali the riding instructor

Absolutely LOVED if wishes were horses! Loved chole (was that her name or her horse's?!) used to wish I was her! ha ha ha!

Thought Ali was great- especially the episode that covered worming when she couldn't get the top if the wormer!

Always wanted a horse called mouse after seeing the foal called mouse on IWWH!
