The Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 introduced a deadline of 2026 for
the addition of unrecorded rights to the definitive map and resources were
allocated to achieve the work.
Following withdrawal of those resources, the Ramblers Association have put
a petition on the No.10 web site calling for repeal of the 2026 cut-off
date. Please go to http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/repeal2026/ for more
information and to add your name if you support the call.
Don't delay it only takes a second! All you need are your email address
and home address (not for publication).
