If you did'nt have horses

well I can tell you/...... I have been horseless for just over a year now since loosing my best friend and I have gained weight, had the hair and nails (but nails didn't last), bought some new clothes, spent a few bob on my car.

To be honest I hate not having a horse, it has been my life since I was a little girl now in my early 30's the 1st time I haven't had one so it's not been easy at all.... miss the smell...being dirty.... having cuddles and kisses chat to others at yard...etc..

My car has stayed very clean though and bank balance has been slightly better off too...

But I am planning on getting a new horse in future :D

Nice car, nice house, nice holidays, big bank balance...................and a really bad alcohol addiction brought on by sheer boredom ;)! Can't imagine not having a horse anymore! :)

Hmmm - no horses. Well, I'd have a nice new car, instead of an elderly VW Polo, that didn't look like a travelling stable. And I'd be able to have a lie-in at the weekends, and time to read a book. And I would probably enjoy it for a few weeks. But then I'd start to miss the yard banter in the evenings, the chat while we muck out, the view from the top of a horse over the garden fences, the vista over the valley from the top of our galloping field, seeing the deer in the woods who don't seem to be bothered about riders on horseback but who run a mile from walkers ...

Think I'll keep them for a bit longer. ;)

I would be Bored.Out.Of.My.Skull!! I really don't know what i would do with myself if everything else in my life were to stay the same just without the horses. On the other hand if i had no horses i would probably go and spend at least a year living/working in New Zealand, and who knows from there!

been there, done it, had the time and the cash, got horses back in my life 20 years later and i have never been happier, the money i spend now is on something i can see and everyday with him is a holiday, not like before when a holiday was only a memory and a good night out was a conversation piece.

Hmmm if I didn't have the horses and the lorry to pay for...

- I'd be able to go shopping for me instead of horses (not that I'm complaining as I MUCH prefer tack shopping anyway!)
- I'd be able to afford a mortgage on a house instead of living at home
- My student loan would have been paid off

Would I change things? Hell no!

I would probably be studying medicine, (although not sure if I would want to be a doctor or not) very fashionable, and playing netball and swimming :p

I have no idea. If I didn't do horses, then that would mean my high school and college would have been completely different too. I'd be a completely different person to who I am now.

I originally wanted to go into literature/writing/journalism type things....so maybe that? But I dunno. Made my decision now I guess.

Not if but when.

Then we will sell this place and we are having this boat. Our friend who owns her is the only glitch in the plan:D I love this boat, only two were built like her, ever. I may have to settle for second best but it has to be a real boat not one of those pretentious plastic 'yachts' without sails.

Give it a few more years until the child is at college and then we are going to play :D We will have our boat and we will follow the sun.
