Cows are darn good jumpers - we had one once, often jumped over a 5 bar gate when she got fed up of being in the winter stalls and wanted to go onto the summer field but I must ask do you think the judges would find it "amooosing" if i turn up on sunday with a highland in full tack????? at least its somewhere to put the trophy to carry home if i win one !
 
I don't know anything about cows but personally I don't think she looks hugely happy in that picture.

Aren't cows just as expensive as horses aswell?
 
Cows dont ever look happy - they just look "fed up".... possibly as they have 4 stomachs to fill ! imagine being a cow on a diet..... its bad enough with one stomach and being on a diet
 
Damn sight cheaper to run than a horse! All you have to do is fill them with barley and silage and the jobs a good one, no worries about condition or laminitis! And a bloody big jump, we're on a farm and have had some escapist cows who have jumped five bar gates and big iron ones!
